Adrian & Kristoffer today!!

What a day yesterday! We ran around like crazy, trying to meet the skaters. Robin and Aliona, who won the pair gold medal, were watching some of the skating so we saw them a couple of times. Kevin van der Perren was on his way to the practice rink. Catched both Adrian and Kristoffer when they headed back to the hotel. They are very gentle and lovely guys, got both autographs and pics together with them. Wonderful Johnny Weir was in a hurry but was very nice and signed my photo and told us he would be back after the training. Isabelle Delobel & Olivier Schoenfelder, hopefully the winner in ice dancing, signed happily our photos, Isabelle is very lovely and friendly. She has a twin sister who is there to cheer and I almost asked the wrong person first... :D But the loveliest, most wonderful persons, of all the skaters I think, are without doubt the ice dancing siblings Sinead &John Kerr! They did a perfect performance yesterday; tartan, kilt and Scottish music, the audience went crazy! And when they had changed clothes, they came out to the group of fans and with smiles all over they faces wrote autographes, were photographed and just chat with us. Not strange they are so popular!! 3 skaters who just walked by were Tomas Verner, Stephane Lambiel and Brian Joubert. We saw Tomas many times but he never stayed. I hope, I hope, I hope we'll get to meet them now this morning!

Good night, Scandinavium

The shop

Just bought a very pretty, pink tee and a big poster of Kristoffer Berntsson. Will put the poster and my tickets in a frame after the competition :) Now has the pairs final started! Going to be thrilling! Who will stand on the podium? The Greece pair first to skate.

PARTY!!

It's like a big, international party here! And right now it's Jamie who entertains us from the speakers, yay! Can it be better? I don't think so! And in 15 mins Victoria's skating, the audience will go crazy then!! She just entered the ice with the warming up group and everybody just screams!!

Good morning!

Now the 2nd group of ladies are on the ice. We slept half an hour longer today so we skip the first group. The lady on the pic is Lejeanne Marais from South Africa. This afternoon our own Victoria Helgesson skates! Go, Victoria!!

End of the 1st day

Now I'm really tired, my knees and butt hurts, but I'm so happy. It has been a fantastic evening and now we'll try to get some sleep before an early morning tomorrow, ladies SP starts at 9.15am! Took around 300 pics today! Got 3 cameras with me :D I know, I'm a stalker. After pairs SP the top 3 are Kawaguchi/Smirnov 71.42, Savchenko/Szolkowy 72.00 and Zhang/Zhang 74.36 Going to be a thrilling final! Good night, see you tomorrow!

And the 1st group are now warming up: Savchenko/Szolkowy - GER, Inoue/Baldwin - USA and Volosozhar/Morozov - UKR

The ice is blue & pink and in a corner there's a grand piano on which Robert Wells will play in some minutes. The crown princess Victoria will also be here celebrating the opening. Just 3 mins left! Do you think we're enough prepared? Cameras, pics to sign, entry lists, time schedule, candies... I want this week to be perfect! Ice dancing - compulsory dance started 1am, but we're heading for the opening and pairs SP tonight. I'm so excited!! Making dinner now, chicken �  la Greece, and listening to Fredrik Kempe.
